A frenectomy (also know as a frenulectomy) can have a range of costs that you have to pay out of pocket depending on a few factors.

The first factor is your insurance plan. Depending on what plan you are on and who your insurance provider is, will change what you pay out of pocket. For clinics like Frenectomy Mississauga that you pay upfront and receive your reimbursement from the provider, that could take 1 day to a few days at most.

The second factor is how complicated the frenectomy is. This is determined when you come in for a consultation and exam. Some are easy procedures and some require slightly more work. https://www.peeldentist.com/posts/can-a-dentist-perform-a-frenectomy/

The third factor is what type is it. There are frenectomies for tongue-ties, lip-ties and cheek-ties and they have their own set of complications. https://www.peeldentist.com/posts/how-long-is-recovery-from-frenectomy/

The fourth factor is if sedation is needed. Some people only require basic numbing but others require more additional treatment to help them relax due to high dental anxiety.

At any rate, the whole procedure is usually done pain-free in one appointment and you are on your way.

After all the variables are worked out, please note, our dental office operates by the Ontario Dental Association fee guide for pricing on treatments. So frenectomies can have a range of prices between:
